Hoodie Profiling

In regards to how attire and the color of skin has absolutely nothing to do with people’s intentions bad or good.. I am a young Caucasian woman, who is five feet tall with mid length brown curly Shirley Temple like locks, with the face of a twelve year old; non-threatening, budding child. Completely innocent looking little scout of an adult; that being said I have done most of my “atrocious” deeds wearing dresses made for tea time and picnic outings or cutesy vintage tops with modest jeans to match and the common demure pair of glasses to tie everything together. I did not wear these certain articles of clothing or choose this particular inculpable style to divert attention but merely because it’s what I like. My acts had nothing to do with the image I wanted to perceive but rather the impulses I wanted to fulfill at the time, these heinous actions included shoplifting in large corporate businesses, injection of intravenous substances, and defiling the public code of how a young lovely lady should act in life on a daily basis. My point is, if a human is a delinquent or a rotten soul it is purely if they choose to be, that is the utter monster and allusiveness to the face of corruption. Corruption has no face, it could have it’s place in anyone and tends to reside in all of us regardless of look. It’s not a matter of abolishing what naturally resides in us as animals. It is essentially a matter of controlling the urge to be unethical. I would like to tell you that I have grown completely as an individual but that would be a lie, I’ve grown to an extent, but an extent that I can be content with and even proud of, I truly have but I still find myself guilty of sin from time to time. The sins of over indulging, trying to control things other than myself and being wrathful; I believe we all have these moments from time to time especially as Americans. Deciding to do or not do devious tasks is our struggle as humans to maintain our balance of conscious. In conclusion, if you can feel some sort of counter-factual comfort in pinpointing your own idea of deception using a simple article of clothing, turn on your television and tell me of the everyday malevolence concealed in a “non-threatening” suit and tie; waging war and poverty on undeserving civilians.
